We are conditioned to hide our struggles and the parts of ourselves that we think are flawed. Very rarely do people share what is broken and cracked in ourselves. We look at everyone else from the outside and compare it to our inside. (Which sometime are falling apart) We then feel isolated and alone, like we are the only one who feels these things. We feel like we are the only one who struggles. We feel like we are the only ones who have these cracked and jagged edges. To us, everyone else looks so smoothed over and polished.
The truth is, no one has it all together.
